A Northern Arizona University graduate, Zachary Vachris initially sought a career in law before ultimately pursuing his passion for hockey. Now a youth director for Icetown Carlsbad and an age-group manager for Junior Reign Youth Hockey, Zachary Vachris coaches aspiring players aged 4 to 18 by producing their practice plans, drills, and workouts. At the same time, he serves as coach of the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League, a role that requires him to recruit and develop high school athletes with the same passion for the sport.
Prior to becoming a coach, Mr. Vachris worked at a law firm as an intern, a position that enabled him to assist attorneys and paralegals researching case details. He has also held multiple positions as a Costco employee. Subsequently, Zachary Vachris has gained a considerable amount of work experience as a bartender at the triple five-star resort Grand Del Mar, a manager of a photography studio, and manager for a water-sports store.
