Yuin Kim manages Zwerver Development, Ltd., a residential real estate development firm headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. As president, he steers the firm toward lucrative investment opportunities in high-potential marketplaces in Western Canada and the United States. Presently, Yuin Kim and Zwerver are focused on market condominium initiatives in such Alberta cities as Edmonton and Calgary.
A recent such Calgary residential investment involved a single-family home based in Rosemont, an inner-city neighborhood. The luxury residence is valued at nearly $2 million. Another project, this one in the Crescent Heights neighborhood, includes four townhouse units, each occupying three stories and 1,800 square feet. Together, the units have a market value of $2.4 million.
Early in his time at Zwerver, Yuin Kim initiated the firm’s first ever joint venture project, which focused on the renovation of a historic building and the addition of a parkade and a dozen townhouse units. Called The Garneau, the building holds an estimated market value of almost $29 million, ranking it among Zwerver’s most valuable projects.
