Detailed Description
As mechanical technician of automation I work at the research, design and development of machines to automate industrial processes, being responsible for the first prototypes development and choosing the best process and also the best components (e.g. mechanicals, electronics, robotics, pneumatics). Once designs are ready I make the assembly of the machine, tests, adjustments and, if necessary, I make the improvements before starting-up and also take care of customer training.
Main technologies: Festo and SMC Pneumatics; FANUC, Staublï Robotics; PLC’s Omron, Siemens; Thermoplastics welding by vibration, infrared and ultrasonic; Measurements and control tools; Milling and mechanical adjustments; Knowledge of artificial vision control and metal welding (by ultrasonic and electric).
