An experienced education consultant and administrative executive, Vivian Palmer holds a bachelor of arts in secondary mathematics education from the University of Detroit Mercy and a master of arts in education with a focus in instruction technology improvement from Wayne State University. She got her professional start in the field of education as an instructor and program/training administrator with specific expertise in math, career/technical education, instructional technology, and adult education. Vivian Palmer went on to design curriculum and provide organizational oversight for the Education Achievement Authority in Detroit, Michigan. She also served two years as executive director of accountability, assessment, and technology with the Tukwila School District in Tukwila, Washington.
Since 2003, Ms. Palmer has served as chief development officer of her own private consulting firm. From her headquarters in Detroit, she offers a variety of administrative advisement and research analysis services to clients in multiple states. Her specific areas of expertise range from IT infrastructure to human capital management.
