An experienced culinary professional with a medical background, Dr. Vincent Philiponis holds a culinary degree in pastry and baking. Extensively trained in the French school of pastry-making and baking, he also has a working knowledge of baking techniques from regions such as Italy, Spain, and Asia. As a trained pastry chef, Dr. Vincent Philiponis relies on a combination of precision and inventiveness that allows him to follow complex recipes while creating pastries and desserts to complement any meal.
Dr. Vincent Philiponis also has an extensive medical background. In addition to holding a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree in pharmacology, he draws upon training received while completing his doctor of medicine in his work as a medical monitor. In this role, he supervises and reviews all protocol for clinical trials of promising new drugs.
Most recently, Dr. Vincent Philiponis served as a medical monitor for ICON in North Wales, Pennsylvania. There, he reviewed guidelines for clinical studies, verified that all trials were designed with integrity, and ensured patient safety by considering criteria such as patient selection, medical standards, and study variables. Additionally, he supervised trials throughout their execution by examining lab numbers, monitoring adverse events, and reviewing key sections of final reports.
