For the best part of my life I pursued a career in professional golf. I was a very dedicated athlete, however I lacked support essential to reach a professional level.
In golf, as in any sport, it takes significant sacrifices to reach world class level. It also takes a lot of time, effort and determination. Those are values of great importance in academics and social life just as well. Thus, what I’ve learned from getting up at six am just to hit the practice tee, I’ve been able to apply to other parts of life. Routines and time management are just as beneficial prior to an exam. It has given my life a pervading pursuit of excellence. As a result, I’ve been able to claim awards like regional champion and graduating first in class.
No matter what challenge I face, I always find motivation to reach my peak performance. While I grew up in Switzerland, I spent the last four years in a small town in Sweden. I graduated high-school, while playing golf at an international elite level. I intend to keep pushing my limits, reaching new heights and keep pursuing greater self-realisation.
Together with two friends, I founded a “youth-company”, as offered in the economics program to Swedish teenagers in their senior class of High School. We offered a service of lawn fertilisation. To operate a small company was a very valuable experience in entrepreneurship, making deals with suppliers and promoting our service. In the end, each of us made a considerable profit thanks to our successful business.
