• Principal investigator of nurses at work, a national study in 3 languages on nurses’ retention in the context of nursing shortage, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation in 2012 and 2014 respectively (www.nurses-at-work.com): original idea and study design; hiring and management of a multisite and multicultural team; development of a a strong network including scientific, funding and professional partners such as WHO, Swiss Health Observatory, Swiss Federal Office of Public Health, SEFRI and Public Health Departments (budget: CHF 1,2 M); statistical analyses underway
• Successful bid in answer to call for the evaluation of housing needs of women in temporary life crisis situations for the association ‘Entre2’, using focus groups and involving 7 BSc students (budget: CHF 13,000)
• Teaching Public Health, international health and research methodology to Bachelor nursing and midwifery students; supervising Bachelor (BSc) theses
