A Georgia-based financial professional with expertise in retirement planning and health care savings strategies, Torrey Thompson serves as general manager of Amerilife and Health Services, where, in addition to working with clients, he recruits and trains new agents. Additionally, Torrey Thompson regularly attends continuing education sessions to maintain proficiency in topics such as accident and illness as well as life insurance.
Prior to joining Amerilife in September 2017, Torrey Thompson worked six years as an operations manager with Georgia Bail Bonding Services. In this capacity, he was tasked with monitoring the financial status of two companies and creating company policy and procedure. He advised and supervised the companies' actuarial transactions for new and existing clients. He also trained administrative assistants and bonding agents and conducted employee performance evaluations. In addition, he has prior work experience with Atkins and Fife Law Firm and Masterson Personnel.
Mr. Thompson holds a Master's in Administration from Central Michigan University and is a supporter of the school's alumni association. He also served as a former electronic communications supervisor in the United States Marine Corps.
