A resident of Akron, Ohio, Todd Rickel, PhD, is the managing partner and president of EDUGRP LLC, which is a K through 20 education innovations company. The firm deals with educational rollout and development as well as educational funding and e-publishing. Todd Rickel also serves as managing partner and president of Rickel Education Group LLC, which provides solutions to clients pertaining to enrollment, faculty development, and international recruitment.
Before joining EDUGRP LLC, Todd Rickel spent several years with the Herzing Educational System in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he was the online campus president and vice president of eLearning. While there, he helped to establish all graduate school programs and facilitated a 400-percent growth in system enrollments and a 250-percent growth in campus revenues.
Todd Rickel completed all of his undergraduate and graduate studies at Kent State University. As an undergraduate, he majored in biology with a minor in philosophy and a concentration in ethics. He earned his master’s degree in cultural anthropology and his doctoral degree in the cultural foundations of education.
