With over two decades of experience in regenerative medicine and pain management, Dr. Todd Koppel is the president of Garden State Pain Management, based in Clifton, New Jersey. Serving in this role since 2003, he diagnoses and treats a number of acute and chronic conditions from multiple locations throughout the state. He utilizes regenerative treatment protocols such as platelet-rich plasma and stem cell therapy along with nerve block and epidural injections as minimally invasive alternatives to surgical procedures. Dr. Todd Koppel holds professional memberships with the American Society of Interventional Pain Management Physicians and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
A 1992 graduate of Cornell University Medical College, he completed an internship in general surgery at New England Medical Center in Boston before finishing residencies in anesthesiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and in pain management at three hospitals in New York City.
In addition to presiding over Garden State Pain Management, Dr. Koppel serves as an attending physician for the pain management department of St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey, and as a director of pain management at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth.
When he’s not working, Dr. Koppel enjoys playing tennis and cycling.
