As Amazon’s vice president of global logistics, Tim Collins oversees activities across 20 countries and hundreds of thousands of personnel within an integrated package delivery network. Tim Collins’ experience with Amazon spans nearly two decades and includes diverse areas of operations. He spent his first six years with the company in a general management role, during which time he was responsible for order fulfillment functions.
Mr. Collins next moved into positions as regional director of operations and director of customer service operations. Before taking his current position, he held leadership responsibilities as vice president of operations in Europe.
Now based in Seattle, Mr. Collins holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and continued his education through Harvard Business School’s General Management Program. His past experience includes a position with Uber in which he helped lead a major operational expansion push to broaden the company’s organizational reach from 60 to more than 500 cities across the globe.
