Thuy holds a Master of Business and Commerce in Human Resource Management from Western Sydney University, Australia and an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management from Bridge Business College, Australia.
She worked as a Government Affairs Executive at Abbott Laboratories S.A. in Vietnam. In this role, she supported the Head of Government Affairs in execution of proactive government affairs strategies that help to advance Abbott’s interests, enhance its reputation, and achieve commercial objectives of the company.
Prior to joining Abbott, Thuy completed a vocational/training internship program at LabourKing, Sydney where she developed her professional skills in the role of Recruiter and HR Advisor.
Performed general administrative tasks including arranging travel, scheduling meetings, generating reports, translation and other related tasks
Coordinated to organise Healthy Aging APEC’s conference in July 2017; participated in AmCham and EuroCham’s meetings and advocacy activities
Supported project planning and monitoring in collaboration with Ministry of Health; assisted to prepare Memorandum of Understanding of Food Safety Testing and Gestational Diabetes Mellitus projects
Stayed apprised of business goals and strategies to assess impacts of legislation, regulatory and key industry associations’ activities in Vietnam; analysed health care & policy developments that could impact Abbott’s business and operations
