Teaching a university seminar of ~20 students during the spring semester.
The objective of the course is
to demonstrate the operation and the logic of financial markets (building on basic asset pricing ideas),
to characterize the main market players and recent market processes,
to give an overview on the most significant theoretical relationships and models,
and to analyze complex financial problems with the help of spreadsheet program.
When constructing the course schedule, we aim to include a wide range of financial markets and assets, emphasizing the similarities and differences of their investment and valuation logics. During the course students are introduced to the Corvinus Financial Laboratory where Bloomberg terminals are available for educational purposes.
