Steven Raheb, MD, is an Adjunct Professor of Biology and Human Sciences at Quinebaug Valley Community College in Danielson, Connecticut. He previously spent 25 years in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, which included spending more than two decades as Department Chairman and Vice Chairman. During his time at Day Kimball Hospital, Steven Raheb, MD, maintained courtesy privileges at UCONN Health Center and UMASS Medical Center. His earliest positions in medicine included serving as an ACLS instructor and the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department Chairman at the United States Naval Hospital at Cubi Point in Subic Bay, Republic of the Philippines.
Dr. Raheb studied Biology and Humanities as an undergraduate at Providence College in Rhode Island. Prior to graduating with honors and a Bachelor of Science, he engaged with a number of campus groups and organizations, including the school newspaper and the Pre-Med Honor Society. He went on to study medicine at Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, DC, during which time he won several academic awards, including the Naval Health Professions Scholarship.
Dr. Steven Raheb went on to conduct his medical training at the US Naval Hospital in San Diego, where he spent time as Administrative Chief Resident, and at the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology where he served as a Junior Fellow Navy Section Chairman.
