Stephen Krzyston

Based in Columbia, South Carolina, Stephen Krzyston is an experienced presence in the criminal defense sphere. With Cavanaugh & Thickens, LLC, he also takes on cases involving situations in which people were injured as a result of others’ negligence. Stephen Krzyston maintains membership in the National College for DUI Defense and is active with the state and national Criminal Defense Lawyers Associations.

Mr. Krzyston earned his BS in political science at the College of Charleston and served as Sigma Nu Fraternity president. He subsequently pursued a juris doctor at the Charleston School of Law and gained experience as law clerk with the South Carolina Commission of Indigent Defense’s Capital Trial Division.

Mr. Krzyston spent nearly seven years as an attorney with the Fifth Circuit Public Defender. Stephen Krzyston’s responsibilities extended to the coordination and training of lawyers who provided assistance on forensic issues related to criminal litigation.
