About Me
An alumnus of Robert E. Lee High School, Stephen Patrick Day attended Lee College and later joined RLS International Transport as partner. Following five years working in a sales and management capacity, Stephen Day earned Certified Transportation Broker distinction and founded the Houston, Texas-based Logistics Group International (LGI) as Its president and CEO. In addition to maintaining this position, he serves as president of LGI Transport, LLC, and partner at Petro Wire & Steel, Ltd.
Under the leadership of Stephen Day, LGI arranges the transport of cargo and specialized transportation services between the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It is also positioned to move "less than truckload" cargo at competitive prices through its exclusive web-based shipping software. The company primarily serves clients in industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, power generation, and mining and construction, retail and consumer products & grocery products
Supplementing his extensive leadership experience in cargo transportation arrangement, Mr. Day holds membership with the Transportation Intermediaries Association and Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association. His hobbies include watching Formula-1, GT Series Racing, The Texas Mile and NHRA Drag Racing.
