- Stephanie is responsible for providing day-to-day guidance, expertise and knowledge necessary for the management of the import and export compliance program. She maintains rate negotiations for a cost competitive advantage and supplies clear direction regarding transportation issues and related services. She is required to communicate and consult on various government requirements and documentation expectations. Stephanie monitors regulatory and legislative changes related to Customs compliance. She also must investigate and resolve carrier/broker service issues.

- Stephanie served as a liaison between the Customer Facing Team and U.S. Customs.
- In this role Stephanie identified, corrected, implemented and shared Best Practices for Import Customs Compliance. She audited Customs entries for accuracy in the areas of classification, valuation, trade preference programs and government contract submissions. Stephanie also processed post entry claims, refunds, protests and petitions.

- At Nissan, Stephanie was required to provide a level of expertise in all areas of import regulations and international trade. Her responsibilities included establishing ACE accounts on a national level to ensure flexibility in the management of working capital for duty payments. Stephanie maintained the Powers of Attorney and Importer Bonds. She filed ruling letters to determine proper tariff classification. Stephanie handled any task that furthered Nissan's goal of reasonable care.

- At Fed-Ex Stephanie managed the accounts of TJ Maxx and Avon. She was responsible for all aspects of the import process. These accounts imported wearing apparel, footwear and accessories. The time sensitive nature of these retail products required Stephanie to work with Customs officials to answer inquiries and resolve delays quickly.
