Detailed Description
Duties included managing the office, while monitoring - in close collaboration with local Authorities and relevant International Organizations and in steady contact with local villagers - the 824-km border, particularly to prevent possible “refoulements” of Cambodian refugees.
Duties also included assistance to civilian war wounded, notably through negotiation with border Thai hospitals and delivery of medical equipments and supplies..
In addition to the successful development of the routine operation, achievements include the writing of a comprehensive multi-sectoral and contextual Contingency Plan.
