My name is Stella. I am student. I am a supporter. I am a hard worker.

WHO I AM

I was born and raised in Germany and naturally, hold the typical German values of punctuality and diligence, that are firmly anchored in my cultural context. Besides that, I am comfortable to describe myself in the following words...

SUPPORTIVE & EMPATHIC. I like to share my knowledge and experience with anyone who needs my support. I simply like to help others! I get excited to see people excel in their lives, knowing that I improved their situation by either listening to them or sharing my insights. Due to my strong ability to empathize and observe my environment, I have well developed people skills and am capable of building robust social relationships.

RELIABLE & PATIENT. I take a steady approach to ensure that tasks are done to the highest standard or even well beyond what is required. My former clients once pointed out as part of a feedback session that as soon as they put a project into my hands they knew the job would be done according to their satisfaction. They knew they could rely on my sense of duty and project management skills!

LOYAL & HARD WORKING. If I dedicate myself to a project or company, I tend to form an emotional attachment, which, in the best case, transforms into loyalty over time. I expect this sentiment to be mutual to strive in the work environment! I also like to get things done and work hard to meet my clients' and own expectations.

WHY A CAREER IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

As part of my early education, I spent the last two years of high school away from home, in the US. I was privileged to live and learn together with students from +20 different nationalities. As part of a Capstone class, a student from South Korea and I were asked by the school's administration to develop and present a business plan to the Board of Trustee. Thanks to this positive experience and an amazing high school teacher, I decided to pursue a career in business administration.

In 2013, armed with a Bachelor degree in International Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management and the experience from two internships, I entered the workforce as the Assistant to the CEO, consultant, and trainer. The Germany-based company operated in the Life Science industry worldwide. From the start, my new employer empowered me to manage my projects independently and encouraged me to work on my skills to grow as a person. The multifariousness of the job offered the opportunity to improve my analytical, communication, and presentation skills, whilst working in a dynamic environment and international team.

After 2.5 years in the consulting and training business, I decided to resume my academic career. Currently, I am a Master student in CEMS/ International Management, living in the Netherlands. As part of my studies, I would like to get more insights into managerial theories and participate in skill seminars to qualify for a leadership position in an international work environment in the future.
