Stella DeSantis brings more than two decades of experience in finance to her role as the senior director of investments at Oppenheimer & Co. in Pennsylvania. Part of the success of Stella DeSantis in the finance industry, where women make up only 6 percent of the workforce, is due to her client service approach, which emphasizes the cultivation of long-term trust based on each client’s particular risk tolerance, income needs, and investment timetables. Further, Ms. DeSantis closely monitors the market for shifts that may necessitate a beneficial rebalancing of client portfolios.
Prior to her investment career, Ms. DeSantis graduated cum laude from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, with a bachelor of business administration in finance. She supported herself through college by working as a legal secretary and as an usher at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, a position that afforded her the opportunity to meet such iconic performers as Bette Midler and Frank Sinatra.
