1986-1995 Account Manager I sold Unix- and PC-based POS-systems to two major retail chains. Spent three weeks in Japan to design a new system together with our technical engineers at the plant. In 1991 I moved to the Communication & Government division, selling client/server solutions; Unix-servers, PC, middleware, storage and network components and services to clients like Telia, Ericsson and the Swedish Defence. I overachieved six of those years.
1980-1985 Nordic Systems Manager for a team of four people. The task was to design, develop, document and support POS-systems for the hospitality market. I was the chief designer, and also responsible for training, implementation and documentation as well as post/presale support, and covered all hospitality clients (nightclubs, boats, hotels and bars) in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
