As an IT strategist and solution advisor for the New York City offices of Cisco Systems, Stacey Lalljee has worked with a range of large corporations to recommend technology best practices that meet specific business needs and goals. Her sales accomplishments with Cisco have earned her multiple company honors over several consecutive years and has been praised for being an expert in her field of work.

Since joining Women 500 Scientists in 2018, Stacey uses her STEM background to mentor and educate students in the Tap dance community. She has seminars with students and parents to educate on different ways technology can enable advancement for the better. She also is very passionate about keeping dancers safe in the cyber world and is actively campaigning safety awareness.

Before joining Cisco in 2014, Stacey Lalljee served tenures as an enterprise relationship manager with Citrix, a global account manager with Avaya, and a corporate account executive with AT&T. Her work with Avaya included overseeing a $32-million account with General Electric.

Stacey got her professional start at the Verizon Communications subsidiary Verizon Avenue before becoming a corporate account manager at the company’s headquarters in New York City. She led an internal account team to provide targeted support to clients, during which time she learned a great deal about the power of effective communication in the sales and consulting processes. Her engineering degree, a Masters of Science in Information and Communications from Ball State, was her foundation. She also has her Cisco CCNA and is one of the few females who holds a Cisco CCNP in Cloud. She is a member of ISACA.org and in process of obtaining her CGEIT, CISSP, and CEH certifications later in 2019.
