Founder and leader of the Bhakti Marga organization, Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda is the first Europe-based spiritual leader to hold the Hindu title of Mahamandaleshwar. As part of his religious mission, he travels the world to provide Darshans (individual blessings) and lead Satsangs (spiritual discourses). Paramahamsa Vishwananda also teaches a range of courses on subjects such as chanting, meditation, and yoga. In 2008, he brought the practices and techniques of Bhakti Kriya yoga (now known as Atma Kriya Yoga) to the United States for the first time.
Additionally, six books have been compiled based on talks given by Paramahamsa Vishwananda in a series titled "Just Love". These books contain excerpts from his talks, where he gives astute answers to questions about life, death, love, and spirituality while also providing a deeper understanding of Hindu deities, holidays, and philosophies. He has also conducted comprehensive courses on the Shreemad Bhagavad Gita and the Shreemad Bhagavatam, and his commentaries during these courses have been transcribed into two wonderful books. In addition to this, various spiritual festivals and Bhakti Marga events such as the “Just Love Festival”, which features Kirtan (spiritual music) artists from around the world, are held every year in his main Ashram in Germany.
