A resident of Madison, Mississippi, Shelbie Yates works as an executive assistant at Sable Investments, where she manages the travel schedule for the firm’s chairman and CEO and liaises between clients and executives. Shelbie Yates remains active in furthering her education by pursuing an MBA from Mississippi College and by attending workshops and events hosted by professional societies.
She gained prior experience as an executive assistant to the chairman of Tenax Aerospace, also in Madison. In this position, she fulfilled many of her current administrative duties, in addition to serving as an airplane host, having completed the Flight Safety International Corporate Cabin Attendant training program.
Outside of work and education, Ms. Yates is involved in her local community, having participated in Jackson Adult Kickball and Social Services. Taking part in local politics, she cohosted a fundraising event for Congressman Steven Palazzo. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking and partaking in outdoor fitness activities.
