Sheikh Yousef A. Al-Shelash is an entrepreneur and Chairman of Dar Al-Arkan Real Estate Development Company (Dar Al-Arkan). Furthermore, he is Chairman of the Saudi Home Loan Company (SHL) in Saudi Arabia and Bank Alkhair in Bahrain. Academically, he holds a Master of Science in Law and Legal Procedures from the Institute of Public Administration Al Riyadh and a Bachelor of Science in Shari'ah from the Mohammed Bin Saud Islamic University in Saudi Arabia.
In addition to his experience in investment banking, real estate, and strategic planning, Yousef Bin Abdullah Al Shelash has impressive credentials. Since it was founded in 1994, Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Company was founded by him and is its Chairman. A member of the Board of Bank Al Khair - Bahrain since its founding in 2004, he is its current Chairman. In addition, since establishing the Saudi Home Loans Company (SHL) in 2008, he has served as the company's Chairman. The company was founded in 2009 and has been led by the Chairman of the Board since then.
He is also the founder, partner, and manager of several businesses involved in real estate and financial activities both within and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Among his credentials are diplomas in banking, fighting financial crime, and formal training in financial management and investment evaluation.
In 1990, he received a bachelor's degree in Islamic law (sharia) from Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. His diplomas in law and legal proceedings were earned at the Institute of Public Administration in 1992 and the Banking Institute of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency in 1994.
