Years back I decided to plunge into the culinary fire and set out on the long tough road to becoming a chef. While many have tried to discourage me, I always knew anything I chose to do would never be easy, so why not take a bite at this! Fast forward 10 yummy years later and I can honestly say, I chose right and have not looked back since.
Responsible for the daily preparation and display of food items in the sauté, grill, garnish and fry stations and other areas as assigned according to restaurant specifications
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as outlined by the restaurant
Food preparation and storage as directed, following sanitary guidelines
Restock food stations and pantries as needed throughout the shift
Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage
