A resident of North Carolina and student at Central Piedmont Community College, Seth Vitco draws upon an award-winning academic background as a homeschooled student and a commitment to community outreach efforts and job responsibilities. Over the years, he has volunteered with North Carolina organizations such as the Brookstone Schools in Charlotte, where he participated in the Vacation Bible School initiative, as well as volunteered with Operation Christmas Child. Seth Vitco has balanced these efforts with previous jobs such as serving as a cashier at Hobby Lobby.
Academically, Seth Vitco won numerous honors and awards while completing his high school diploma through a home-school curriculum. Among other subjects, he particularly excelled in the study of classics. As a student at Greyfriars Classical Academy in Matthews, North Carolina, Mr. Vitco received numerous honors from the National Junior Classical League while earning achievements such as a perfect score on the National Latin Exam in 2014.
In addition to his classical studies, Seth Vitco has received recognition for his academic performance in English, science, and environmental studies. In addition to receiving a score of 4 out of 5 on his English Language & Composition and Environmental Science AP exams, he stands out as a regional finalist in the North Carolina Science Olympiad and a first-place winner in the Rube Goldberg Competition.
