About Me
A commodity index trader with more than 15 years of experience in financial markets, Sean Kemery currently serves as a director and senior trader at the New York City office of Deutsche Bank AG. He developed and manages a business division that handles billions of dollars in transactions on both the S&P Goldman Sachs Commodity Index and the Bloomberg Commodity Index. Along with overseeing commodity trades in all sectors, from metals and energy to livestock and agriculture, Sean Kemery builds new client relations, advises existing clients on trading strategies, and represents Deutsche Bank on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) Coffee Committee.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kemery served as a vice president and senior trader for AIG Financial Products, where he conducted trades and hedges on the Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Index for one of Wall Street’s largest commodity portfolios. He subsequently joined UBS AG, upon the company’s acquisition of the Dow-Jones AIG Commodity Index. During his tenure with UBS, Sean Kemery reestablished the commodities business transferred from AIG Financial Products, supervised risk management operations, and handled profit and loss reporting.

Outside of his work in the financial industry, Mr. Kemery donates to the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation, which provides anti-domestic violence education for children and adults. He also contributes to a New York City shelter that aids women who have suffered domestic abuse.
