A successful retail developer, Scott Fish brings more than 17 years of experience to his current position as the Principal of UP Development, a construction development firm based in Franklin, Tennessee. The firm works with a wide range of major retail companies to develop shopping centers and malls throughout the southeastern United States. The company also specializes in workout solutions for owners and financiers burdened by troubled assets. Under Scott Fish’s direction, UP Development has completed projects for national retailers such as Toys“R”Us, Walmart, Home Depot, and Kroger.
Currently, Scott Fish is overseeing several major retail projects, including a $36 million, 250,000-square-foot retail center in Orange County, Florida. Other significant developments under way include a 60,000-square-foot location for Toys“R”Us at the Millennia Mall in Orlando, Florida, and a 90,000-square-foot furniture store in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Fish actively supports educational initiatives through charitable contributions and sponsorships. In addition to sponsoring several scholarships for college students in the Franklin community, he recently made a significant contribution to a fund which buys musical instruments for students in need around the country.
A native of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Mr. Fish attended Ferris State University, where he played football for legendary coach Nick Coso.
