A certified general contractor in Florida, Scott Buescher serves as the owner and president of operations for the award-winning homebuilding firm Mercedes Homes LLC. The company oversees land development and construction along Florida’s east coast. At its peak, Scott Buescher managed revenues of over $1.7 billion annually with a loan facility of $550 million and helped the company earn several National Housing Quality Awards.
Under his guidance, the firm has engaged in multiple community- and humanitarian-efforts. For instance, Mercedes Homes participated in the Extreme Home Makeover television show, during which it constructed a new home for a family in need in just 72 hours. In an effort to increase energy efficiency, Buescher worked with the University of Florida and other organizations to develop innovative building techniques and hurricane-resistant technology.
In addition to heading Mercedes Homes’ charitable-contributions committee, Buescher supports organizations such as Promise in Brevard, a housing community for young adults with special needs, and Project SEARCH of Brevard.
He has a bachelor of science in business from Edinboro University. When he is not working, he enjoys playing golf and boating.
