I have been working in the Hospitality industry for the last 14 years and my love for it has allowed me to work in bars and restaurants all over Australia. I have held many different positions in the industry from casual table waiting to high end silver service and from pouring pints to making specialty cocktails and recommending quality wines. I am used to working in high energy venues and love to do so. I have a natural ability to lead and feel I possess great people skills which enable me to easily relate to people from all walks of life.
Ensuring the smooth day to day running of a very busy venue, managing staff to run venue efficiently and cost effectively, controlling door and pass to ensure smooth service periods, liaising between management, kitchen and staff, dealing with customer complaints in a professional manner, strictly adhering to RSA and licensing policies in a high turnover late night venue, performing opening and closing procedure, ordering stock, waiting tables, recommending wine, whiskey and food pairings.
Perform open and closing duties, cash up, count and refill ATM, rostering, oversee the running of staff both bar and floor, stocktake, order stock, co-ordinate breaks, record wastage, oversee general running of the venue.
Mix cocktails and various other beverages, train staff, co-ordinate breaks, rotate stock, stock take, order stock, ensure correct staffing, oversee daily running of main bar and poolside bar.
