  • Manage projects around regulation changes such as the current SFDR regulation. For this project have mapped out the data requirements, built the collection plan in order to secure the required resource. Previously managed the MIFID II project. That project also involved new data point creation, database adjustments, tool creation, process enhancements, cross border training and maintenance. Also responsible for educating clients around the data set.
  • Responsible for working with the Fund Managers directly to provide expertise on data points, methodologies, processes and various other topics
  • Work closely with the D&D centres to ensure that Data Processes are running efficiently.
  • Responsible for approximately 4000+ funds across EMEA.
  • Work directly with sales and solutions teams to evangelise Morningstar data, both internally to users and externally to clients.
  • Manage several of Morningstar UK's most strategic clients such as the Golden Source Contract for HSBC. Fidelity reporting to their head of data, Threadneedle, M&G among others.
  • Act as subject matter expert in client projects, such as the building of the Aviva MPS and Digital Fact sheets and online fund centre.
  • Maintain 3rd party relationships with platforms such as Transact, Medbank, Interactive Investor and AJ Bell to help educate them on data and assist with all data related issues.

  • Lead a team of Data Relationship Managers, Analysts and Interns to maintain the UK OE/ETF/L&P data bases for numerous markets, including UK, Ireland and Luxembourg.
  • Mentor and train all members of the team to understand the local market regulations, Morningstar methodologies, data process and products. Support the team in order to allow them to work independently.
  • Prioritize the teams workloads in line with the company goals and division goals, as well as creating individual goals for each member to ensure their personal development.
  • Work alongside and guide the global teams and regional teams where local expertise is required.
  • Build and maintain KPIs in order to ensure data quality is at the correct standard, look for trends in the KPIs as an indication to where the database needs enhancements or collection processes need improvements. Where changes are required work closely with the necessary teams to instigate the required projects/changes.
  • Act as subject matter expert for numerous areas of data both internally and externally. Present and evangelize Morningstar’s data to potential and existing clients.
  • Work closely with solutions and sales teams to complete initial discovery work and feasibility for upcoming deals.
  • Project Manager and project stakeholder in numerous projects, ranging from new regulations to database improvements. Have experience in various project management styles, such as leading LEAN Six Sigma projects, Morningstar project framework and Agile and the new ODI project layout.
