An experienced television agent and talent agency executive, Ryan Ly has been involved with some of the biggest names in television during his more than 15-year career with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and Curate Entertainment. During this time, he has developed expertise in identifying new revenue streams, managing complex projects, and handling high-profile clients. Over the years, Ryan Ly has generated millions of dollars in agency fees while placing hundreds of clients in roles with networks and production companies around the world.
As a trainee and then television agent at CAA from 2005 to 2013, Ryan Ly accrued experience identifying and signing clients from popular shows such as The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. He also gained industry-wide recognition during this period for the success of his clients, helping CAA represent more award-nominated television writers than any other agency.
From 2013 to 2017, Ryan Ly served as the head of the television literary department, a role in which he was instrumental in the sale of hit shows such as Better Call Saul and Amazon’s original show Good Girls Revolt. In addition to managing a team of agents distributed across the Los Angeles, New York, and London offices, he supervised the daily operations of the department.
