  • Icommgroup is the result of the merging between Oqvestir (www.oqvestir.com.br) and Shop2gether (www.shop2gether.com.br), the biggest premium fashion ecommerce companies in Brazil.
    Responsible of company's IT, projects and people management, technical leadership and investments on technology.

    Mainly activities:
    • Led the transformation of the IT culture. Change the mindset to improve innovation, collaboration and empowerment.
    • Responsible for leading IT teams merging in company: help desk, infrastructure, development (backend, frontend and mobile), Ux and BI.
    • Responsible for the IT team management: hiring, training, coaching and development process implementation and improvement.
    • Lead and designed the development, with the IT team, of improvements on both sites, Oqvestir (we’ve built that) and Shop2gether (Magento). We use Agile methods, Micro-services, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and several programming languages (Ruby on rails, Python, Phoenix, Node.js, etc).

    Some projects we've done:
    • Helped, with others, the merging process of IT systems (ERP, WMS and e-commerce).* Helped to merge whole IT infrastructure of the new office.
    • Took part in merge the warehouse, maintaining and improving that.
  • In charge of the company's IT, reporting directly to the CEO.Responsible of projects and people management, technical leadership and investments on technology.

    Mainly activities:
    • Led the creation of a new IT culture based on collaboration, freedom, empowerment and responsibility.
    • Responsible for creating/leading all IT teams in company: help desk, infrastructure, development (backend, frontend and mobile), Ux and design teams. The team was about 13 people.
    • Led the creation of IT department, development(back-end, front-end, app IOS and Android), Ux, help desk and infrastructure.
    • Responsible for the IT team management: hiring, training, coaching and development process implementation and improvement.
    • Led the adoption of agile methods, scrum and kanban.

    Some projects we've done:
    • Managed, lead and designed the development, with the IT team, the new "Oqvestir" e-commerce platform from scratch. Using Agile methods, Micro-services and AWS.
    • Built IOS and Android app.
    • Helped to build whole IT infrastructure of the new distribution center. Took part in creating, maintaining and improving them.
    • Took part in moving the products between the old and the new warehouse.
    • Build whole IT infrastructure of the new office.

    Technologies used: Ruby on Rails, Phoenix, Sinatra, Node.js, Python (Flask), Javascript, Angular, PostgreSQL, MySql, Sql Server, Redshift, Redis, Memcached, AWS, Azure, Cloudsearch, Ionic, Swift, Firehose, etc.
  • Luiza Labs is the Magazine Luiza’s IT team. I was responsible of 3 teams (front-end, marketplace and back-end) in the e-commerce department.

    Mainly activities:
    • Lead the creation of a IT culture based on collaboration, freedom, empowerment and responsibility.
    • Lead and designed the development, with the IT team, of the e-commerce and marketplace platform.
    • Lead the front-end team.
    • Lead, designed and developed Magazine Luiza’s e-commerce back-end (Apis).
    • Lead the use of agile methods.

    Some projects we've done:
    • We’ve built the core of marketplace platform.
    • We’ve built, with Checkout Team, a new checkout module for Magazine Luiza’s e-commerce.

    Technologies used: Java (Hibernate, Spring, etc), Python (Django and Tornado), Javascript, PostgreSQL, MySql, Redis, Memcached, AWS, Solr, etc.
  • Responsible for managing product backlogs from several areas in company, in order to see the real necessities from customers and to prioritize tasks.

    • Responsible for Magazine Luiza’s e-commerce IT team.
    • Led the use of agile methods (Scrum).
    • Responsible for being “the bridge” between IT teams and other teams in Magazine Luiza. I understood the necessities of our “customers" and I built and prioritized our Product Backlog. - Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed
