A graduate of the Cornell University School of Law, Rodney Malpert holds bar admissions in California, Arizona, and Texas. A prominent figure in the field of business immigration law, he stands out as the author of two loose-leaf treatises on the subject and frequently presents on the topic before industry groups, such as the Council for Global Immigration. Rodney Malpert has also spoken before professional groups on the subject of immigration law as it pertains to technology firms.
Currently, Rodney Malpert leads the Phoenix office of Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, where he focuses on areas, such as PERM labor certification, national interest waivers, and EB1 visas for outstanding researchers and extraordinary ability. Mr. Malpert also leads teams in Los Angeles and Silicon Valley, where he maintains his primary office.
In his legal practice, Mr. Malpert draws upon experience gained as a senior counsel for Texas Instruments and as an attorney with law firms, such as Baker Botts and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison. He was also a shareholder with Littler Mendelson where he managed the worldwide US immigration practice.
