A graduate of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California, Rocky Crabb operated a private law practice that served the greater Los Angeles area for more than a quarter of a century. His areas of expertise included civil law, business law, family law, personal injury, products liability, and Uniform Trade Secret Act issues. Rocky Crabb has also represented clients in a number of criminal law and juvenile law cases. His first appointment to the bench was as a judge pro tem for the counties of Los Angeles and San Bernardino.

Since 2005, Rocky Crabb has served as a court commissioner with the Superior Court of California. Since his election to the court by the judges of the court, he has presided over thousands of cases in areas such as divorce, paternity, and domestic violence. In the execution of his duties Mr. Crabb stresses timeliness and fairness, overseeing all aspects of the cases on his law calendar from pre-trial motions to post-trial hearings.
