An accomplished health care professional, Dr. Robert VandenBosche brings more than two decades of experience to his work as a volunteer physician with multiple nonprofit groups. As a volunteer with International Medical Relief since 2015, he has provided medical care in underserved areas of countries around the world. Since 2001, Dr. Robert VandenBosche has also served as a board member for Carewear, a nonprofit group that collects clothing and knitted items for newborns and children hospitalized with cancer.

Professionally, Dr. Robert VandenBosche recently served as director of immediate care services for Frederick Memorial Hospital and Monocacy Health Partners in Frederick, Maryland. In this position, he led a group comprised of three urgent care centers as chief physician and medical director. In addition to managing all clinical staff and a team of 12 providers, he provided health care services, including urgent care procedures, pre-surgical consultations, and interpretation of radiological images.

Dr. Robert VandenBosche earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Loyola University in Maryland before going on to receive a doctor of medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his postdoctoral training as a resident in the Lancaster General Family Practice Residency program.
