- Employed in client side and responsible for the project construction work as assigned, ensure the construction procedures are implemented. Ensure the construction work is executed within the planned schedule, and budget. Ensure that the site personnel are sufficiently qualified and /or trained to perform their respective tasks. In-charge of the site works and becomes the focal point for the Client and external parties. Ensure that QA/QC records are systematically filed and safety kept for hand over operation, towards the end of the construction work. Actively involved /support during pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of the plant if required. Ensure that the site construction is executed in accordance with Company’s HSE policy and regulations. Manage of subcontractors to meet the construction schedule, quality requirements and safety target. Review the work execution plan submitted by Subcontractor. Ensure that it covers all relevant aspects i.e. construction task force, construction equipment, temporary facilities, construction method and safe working conditions. Check and coordinate look ahead, schedule in each area in conjunction with drawings and material delivery schedule so that a proper mobilization plan of the construction force can be realized. Monitor the performance of discipline supervisors and Subcontractors. Foster and maintain relationship with Client and Subcontractors. Resolve any construction local issue related to quality, safety, cost and engineering maintain good image with the various local authorities. Provide accurate information to the Project Manager and Construction Department Manager with regards to site conditions and progress.
