Employed in Saudi Aramco Jizan Refinery Utilities Project, ensure that all assigned personnel are instructed in and comply with all aspects of the Field Safety Plan and manual, Permit to Work System, Safety Procedures and instruction and Client requirements. Monitor incoming materials and progress of the project field work status and report to concern department. Review, sign off and verification, work permit requirement prior to commencement of work. Supervise erection and installation activity for piping works to ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with the latest revision of drawings, isometrics, specifications, standards and procedure to ensure that the work is carried out in safe manner. Monitor and inspect the work during execution for the compliance with project specifications. Perform site inspection such as fit-up, dimensional, witness inspection and testing. Review and check all piping system if they installed as per, ISO drawing, P&ID and Plot Plan requirement. Coordinate and monitor with contractor all the safety precaution required in the work site to ensure the safe working condition.

Employed in client side conversion Hail 2 simple cycle to combined cycle power plant administer construction activities, ensuring all piping/mechanical scope of works are achieved in accordance with the contract requirements and timeframe, and in compliance with client’s specifications and established standards. Identify any potential or actual slippages and discuss with the Project Manager. Supervises and coordinates all piping/mechanical activities, utilizing exemplary expertise in the application of systematic and scientific work methods, standards and procedures. Evaluate capabilities of craftsmen including machines and equipment and ensures all assigned duties are performed competently to achieve project objectives. Coordinates in the planning procedures of piping/mechanical based on starting and completion for each phase of construction, ensuring priority deviations are resolved. Supervise the subcontractor’s scope of works engaged in the piping / mechanical works to ensure that quality output is completed on schedule and to the acceptable standards and required specifications. Liaise with Supervisors, Foreman, Quality Control and Specialist of other disciplines to ensure the optimum interface of the various operational activities. Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and standards and that, piping schedules are adhered to. Examines workmanship in the piping (as well as mechanical/welding) works if it is in conformity to standards and specifications. Handles monitoring and reporting technical progress in conjunction with supervisors and project planning and control personnel.

Employed in client side and responsible for the project construction work as assigned, ensure the construction procedures are implemented. Ensure the construction work is executed within the planned schedule, and budget. Ensure that the site personnel are sufficiently qualified and /or trained to perform their respective tasks. In-charge of the site work and becomes the focal point for the Client and external parties. Ensure that QA/QC records are systematically filed and safety kept for hand over operation, towards the end of the construction work. Actively involved /support during precommissioning and commissioning activities of the plant if required. Ensure that the site construction is executed in accordance with Company’s HSE policy and regulations. Manage of subcontractors to meet the construction schedule, quality requirements and safety target. Review the work execution plan submitted by Subcontractor. Ensure that it covers all relevant aspects i.e. construction task force, construction equipment, temporary facilities, construction method and safe working conditions. Check and coordinate look ahead schedule in each area in conjunction with drawings and material delivery schedule so that a proper mobilization plan of the construction force can be realized. Monitor the performance of discipline supervisors and Subcontractors. Foster and maintain relationship with Client and Subcontractors. Resolve any construction local issue which are related to quality, safety, cost and engineering maintain good image with the various local authorities. Provide accurate information to the Project Manager and Construction Department Manager with regards to site conditions and progress.

Employed in Alcoa and Ma’aden Rolling Mill Project, ensure that the required documentation/records are being generated, maintained to include the details of all inspection/surveillances performed. Interact cross-functionally with project team members and management and provide input to fabrication quality management reports. Oversee subcontractor inspections and review of subcontractor documentation. Generate NCR’s, when required and communicating NDE inspection with subcontractors, materials receiving inspection of pipes, fittings, gaskets, valves, flanges, bolts and nuts according to their material specification. Control of quality for piping fabrication such fit-up, visual and dimensional inspection conforming to approved for construction drawings. Preparation of RFI to the client for various piping inspections in accordance with approved inspection and test plan (ITP) approved material drawings, responsible for issuance of Non-Conformance Reports if any violation and out of standard for piping works. Responsible for QA/QC piping inspection, shop piping spool release and field installation, laying and assembly inspection, fit-up, alignment inspection and bolt torque prior for re-instatement Review test packages and carrying out of punch list with the A, B, and C category items. Re-instatement punch list and closes out.

Employed in Amvatoby nickel and mining project, responsible for the inspections of all above ground, materials receiving inspection pipes, fitting, gaskets, valves, flanges, bolts and nuts in compliance to material list, mill certificates, test reports and correct material specifications. Review test packages and outlined in the document and procedures and carrying out of punch list with the A, B, and C category items. Reinstatement punches and closes out. Report QA/QC manager all about inspection proceeding at site, such as fit up and welding inspection random witness dimensional inspection. Review of all documents drawing, welder register, PQR and WPS, and material certificate. Review method statement and site query proposed by contractor carried out witness inspection of (WQT) welder qualification test, hydro test, leak test pneumatic test and all of inspection stage prior release for painting, and raise up non-conformance report for unmet quality requirements as per specification standard of the project. Witness daily activities such as fabrication and erection works responsible to implement of the project standard procedure.

WELDING INSPECTOR
Employed in Sohar Fertilizer Project, monitor, control & variable welding parameters listed in WPS during welding operations of all piping works. Involved in activities welding surveillance inspection, schedule for NDT, monitor PWHT activities, checked qualification of welders, witness actual welding of test specimen for PQR and WQT and make sure it is in accordance with procedure. In process welding surveillance to verify compliance with specified procedure including preheats, inter pass temperature control and post heat requirements check that all equipment and inspection instruments are calibrated. Maintaining records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment. Manage quality activities at site related to welding and NDE. Monitor pipe spool fabrication and installation in relation to fit ups, dimensions, alignments and distortion. Check joint fit up, bevel angle, root gap, root face and alignment of pipes before welding in all phases of fabrication.

PIPING INSPECTOR
Monitor Hydro test, pneumatic test & includes dimensioning of fabricated spools as well as checking the orientation prior to release for welding. Inspect that each piece of pipe is marked with corresponding traceability before cutting, verifying piping material (pipe, valves and fittings) and its conformance to installation/erection drawings. Performing piping walk down inspection and completing punch list. Ensure contractor’s dimensional control methods for checking that all works are properly set-out and satisfactory. Verifications that dimensions fit up and weld preparations are in accordance with WPS and drawings. Do line checking of pipes and prepare punch list items before releasing to hydro test and witnessed pressure testing of lines as well as pneumatic inspection, air drying and blowing of pipes. Do reinstatement of lines after hydro test and pneumatic inspection. Inspection and close out system punch list.

Employed in Laffan Refinery Project, ensure all welding activities are executed in accordance with all relevant codes and standards, procedures and inspection test plan (ITP). Ensure the correct application of the project quality plan in site activities and review welding qualification specification (WPS) & welder qualification test record (WQTR), witness of welder qualification test (WQT) reviewing and non-destructive testing RT, PT, MT, PMI. Monitor Fit-up inspection and final visual inspection of joints Selection of joint for NDT as per line class and welder wise and prepared request, monitoring weekly welder status rejection rate. Review and signed off Daily Welding Inspection Report (DWIR) Monitoring welding consumable storage condition & verifying issue log, calibration certificates of welding machine.
