Working as a Senior Manager within the Treasury Credit unit, I was tasked with primary responsibility for the credit control activities surrounding AIB's treasury dealing rooms in all geographic locations. I led the team responsible for measuring and reporting on the Group's Treasury credit risks. I was also responsible to Board level Credit Policies governing these activities.
Supporting the Bank's Treasury dealing rooms, I analysed credit for all counterparty types active in the capital markets; corporate, sovereign, bank, structured products (ABS, CMBS, RMBS etc) and non-bank financial (including US Securities Houses).
Launched career after college into roles covering middle and back office functions for a diverse set of retail and commercial bank lending products, including term and asset finance.
