Former Cohesity COO Riccardo Di Blasio spent 13 years with EMC Corporation, serving as senior vice president of service providers and strategic alliances in Boston. Reporting to EMC vice chairman Bill Teuber, he achieved triple-digit compound annual growth rates year-over-year and established a global strategy for the service providers business. Before becoming senior vice president in 2011, Riccardo Di Blasio spent three years as vice president and general manager with EMC Italy, where he spearheaded turnaround efforts and repositioned the company as a leader in southern European markets.
Riccardo Di Blasio most recently served as a chief operating officer of Cohesity, launching the startup company’s first operations out of stealth mode. He currently sits on advisory boards for several small and medium-sized companies and provides angel investments for numerous Silicon Valley startups. He has completed several joint initiatives with NASA in recent years, positioning himself as a leading expert in connecting space technology startups with financial capital.
Riccardo Di Blasio has undertaken studies in computer programming and business administration in Rome. He resides with his family in Los Gatos, California.
