IPC - Association Connecting Electronic Industries
February 2013
This professional development program provides objective evaluation of core competencies in design, based upon industry standards rather than specifications of just one company. Courses enhance and assess technical knowledge: how to transform an electrical circuit description into a reliable PCB design that can be manufactured, assembled, tested. Certification demonstrates a real commitment to excellence.
Responsible for layout of PCB on digital, analogue, low and high power application
Design of printed circuit boards up to 12 layers, with particular attention to high speed digital design, low noise, emc, IPC guidelines (IPC-2221B,IPC2222,IPC-D-325A, annexes)
Library build and maintenance, schematic capture revision and improvement, bill of material generation
Actively involved in the research and development process within engineering team
Negotiatiations with suppliers for technical and commercial related issues
Preparation of technical documentation (assembly drawings, layer stack-ups, test procedures)
Testing of equipments and flight graded PCBs in clean room environment (satellite hardware - prototypes)
