Company Description
One Destination Center (ODC) is a non-governmental organization aiming at closing the gap of digital divide while averting Indonesia's dependence on international bandwidth. ODC exists because its founders deem it is necessary to institutionalize the work of empowerment they did for more than 12 years, having understood the growing scale of work that makes it impossible for the founders to work individually. ODC is legitimized as a foundation on December 22, 2007, with information and communication technology (ICT) activists Onno W. Purbo dan Nurlina N. Purbo as founders.
Some partners previously involved with the founders include a number of international organizations, one of which is the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), a Canadian Crown corporation that works in close collaboration with researchers from the developing world in their search for the means to build healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous societies.
