An experienced hair stylist and small business owner, Renell “Rae” Shorter has owned and operated Styles by the Lash Diva since 2010. Before establishing this organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth suburb of The Colony, Texas, she cut hair with franchise locations of Great Clips and Sport Clips in the nearby city of Plano. Renell Shorter previously lived in Utica, Michigan, where she owned the business Lovely Lashes and treated clients as an esthetician.
Rae Shorter holds a bachelor of science in business administration and marketing from Central State University, a Michigan esthetician license from the Michigan College of Beauty, and both Michigan and Texas cosmetologist licenses from the Regency Beauty Institute.
She also is the owner of Credit Diva of Dallas Inc., through which she leverages her knowledge of the credit repair industry to build long-term relationships with clients and help them reach their financial goals. Renell Shorter remains in close contact with her clients from the initiation of credit repair services until their issues are brought to resolution with the closing of the credit file.
Outside of the professional arena, Renell Shorter takes advantage of being her own boss to indulge her passion for travel. Her other hobbies include reading and generally learning new things. She is also an active member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
