A graduate of American University with a master of business administration, accomplished business executive Rand Currier has spent more than 25 years in the telecommunications industry with various companies, such as Sprint. In his current role, Rand Currier serves as the chief operating officer and senior vice president of operations for Quincy, Massachusetts-based Granite Telecommunications, a position he has held since the company was founded more than 15 years ago. As COO, his leadership encompasses all non-sales functions including finance, IT, legal, corporate strategy, product development, network operations, OPS, customer service and provisioning.
During his tenure, he has helped thousands of multi-site enterprises in the U.S. and Canada find more efficient and cost-effective communications solutions, including more than 85 of the Fortune 100 companies. While at Granite Telecommunications, he has grown the firm from nascency to a profitable billion-dollar company with no debt or outside investment. Recognized as an industry leader, the company has received the United States Postal Service Supplier Excellence Award.
