Overall responsibility for the implementation of the project in the allocated sites according to the implementation plan
Closely work with the Project Manager to develop implementation plan and associated SOP for all components of the project (CfW, Training, Quick impact project)
Coordinate with other NRC departments to ensure harmonized implementation plan for each site
Ensure coordination at the local level with partner organizations working on the project
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project achievements. Directly responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring of assigned activities in line with project documents
Provide technical guidance and oversight to the project team on relevant aspects of project activities
Manage staff performance using NRC’s Performance Management system
Maintain NRC’s position as a key actor vis-à-vis the local authorities
In consultation with the Project Manager, manage daily relationship with stakeholders at the field level, represent NRC in field level meetings/coordination
Provide regular progress reports to Project Manager (Area Manager and Core Competency Specialist if no Project Manager).
Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need of protection, explore and assess new and better ways to assist.
Provides direction, assigns tasks and gives instructions to staff, specifies their individual work plans and evaluates individual team member’s performance.
Oversees the progress of the team activities and ensures they are implemented conform planning, quality standards, budget and (donor) guidelines.
Supports assigned staff in their professional development, identifies training needs and supports staff to achieve the objectives defined in their learning development plans.
Supports Program Coordinator in the implementation of NRC ICLA program in an assigned geographical area of operation
Contributes to ensure quality and relevance of service delivery, ensuring that ICLA activities are based on the needs of the community in an assigned geographical area of operation
Coordinates the team's activities internally within NRC and externally with local communities, local authorities, stakeholders and partners.
Ensures protection mainstreaming of ICLA activities
Monitors and supports the team's referral activities.
Proactively provides the management with strategic suggestions on how to increase effectiveness, efficiency, quality and relevance of ICLA activities in an assigned geographical area of operation
