About Me
A graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, RaKerry Rahman, MD, received his medical degree in 2005 and went on to complete his internship and residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia University. In addition, RaKerry Rahman, MD, fulfilled advanced training in high-risk surgical techniques under the mentorship of Dr. Lawrence Lenke, an internationally renowned authority on spinal deformity surgery.

RaKerry Rahman, MD, currently holds an academic appointment at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as a clinical assistant professor of spinal surgery. In 2012, he was voted Best Faculty for his course in advanced cervical spine surgery. Continuing his involvement in academic research, Ra'Kerry Rahman, MD, continues to track and publish research on spinal surgery. Recently, he completed a scientific abstract titled "Posterior Vertebral Column Resection Procedure," a complex technique for treating severe spinal deformities.

Ra'Kerry Rahman, MD, is an accredited member of the International Spine Intervention Society, the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the Scoliosis Research Society. Since 2013, he has served with Springfield Clinic, LLP, as a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a special focus on spine and neck deformities.
