Dr. Rafael Schulze is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with nearly 12 years of professional experience. Between 2006 and 2014, he provided dermatologic services at the San Antonio Military Medical Center in Texas. Since then, Dr. Rafael Schulze has worked with patients in and around Orlando, Florida, as a Mohs surgeon with Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. Over the course of his career in dermatology, he has performed more than 10,000 Mohs Surgeries, dating back to his training as one of a small number of dermatologists who completed a one-year skin cancer fellowship.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rafael Schulze has coauthored a number of notable papers and chapters on subjects as diverse as epithelioid sarcomas and the use of local anesthesia during vertical vector facelift procedures.
Dr. Schulze studied medicine at the University of Puerto Rico. Prior to beginning his career in medicine, he served as a member of the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
