  • Responsibilities consisted of greeting customers, performing safety and efficiency checks for their vehicles before beginning to change the oil. Also responsible for changing oil filters, and air filters in various makes and models of cars, inspecting serpentine belts, changing batteries and various lights on cars. Performing additional services such as transmission, power steering, and radiator flushes, as well as tire rotations.
    The main objective of work here was to inform the customer of how to maintain their car, and educate them on preventative maintenance for their vehicle while providing quick, concise service.
    During my time at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, I became a certified technician in less than the sixty days allotted by the company. I also completed training as a Customer Service Adviser, which allows me to discuss additional services with customers, help with customer retention, and inquiries while dealing directly with the customers.
  • Responsibilities included logging inventory into the system with use of software such as Putty and MultiPutty. Also performing quality analysis by manually counting physical inventory in order to confirm virtual records, or correct records, using a scanner equipped with internal system.
  • Worked as a crew member, which included preparing customers food, as well as serving them. Also used cash handling methods on the cash register, and learned many principles, and skills in the kitchen that help provide quality service in the front of the house as well
