Responsibilities consisted of greeting customers, performing safety and efficiency checks for their vehicles before beginning to change the oil. Also responsible for changing oil filters, and air filters in various makes and models of cars, inspecting serpentine belts, changing batteries and various lights on cars. Performing additional services such as transmission, power steering, and radiator flushes, as well as tire rotations.

During my time at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, I became a certified technician in less than the sixty days allotted by the company. I also completed training as a Customer Service Adviser, which allows me to discuss additional services with customers, help with customer retention, and inquiries while dealing directly with the customers.
