Graduated from Kathmandu University with the degree of Bachelor of Medicineand Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) - Part I, II and III. The duration of course was of five and a half academic years. Modules of the graduation program included:
Part I: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology,Pathology,Introduction to Clinical Medicine.
Part II : Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine.
Part III: Medicine (including Dermatology,Psychiatry), General Surgery (including Radiology, Orthopaedics, Dentistry, Anesthesiology), Obstetrics and Gynecology (including Family Planning) and Paediatrics.
